Bright Spots

Needing Some Bright Spots. Brrr.

Twenty two degrees outside, still snowing. Beautiful…But. I have a full-blown cold (there’s an obscure pun in there), possibly even the flu; playing in the snow wasn’t optional today. Fire in the fireplace, pizza for a late dinner, my kids are watching Phineas and Ferb on Netflix (I actually really like this), and I’m feeling ambitious enough (tissue close by) that I think I’d  like to post some random bright spots before I succumb to Alka Seltzer and an electric blanket (tonight, I don’t care if electric blankets wreck my chi).

Friends

Meisha’s friend was along for her photo shoot the other day.  I’m so glad for my children’s friends. Do you remember being thirteen?

Sisters

My sisters Mara Lee and Leah helped my parents take down netting at their berry farm before winter hit last year (I was there too). These two have been in my life for as long as I can remember (I’m the oldest of nine; they are second and third). I love when we get together, whether it’s for work or play. And I’m really, really missing them now (Mara Lee, find your phone darling!!!).

Family

We took these family pics about this time last year. What a difference a year makes! These are my favorite people on the planet.
